The last two days have been no fun : (
Manny and I have both been sick with fevers and a cold. The Dr. made a house call yesterday and said we needed lots of rest. Manny had a temp. of 101.8 at about 4am this morning, which made me very nervous. He seems a little better today, but is sleeping a lot, which is good. We were going to spend our last weekend doing some sightseeing and shopping, but instead we're spending it in bed.
That's ok with me, as long as we're all feeling better by Wednesday when we fly home! Monday, our representative will be picking us up at 8am to go to the Embassy. Manny is required to be at this appt. so hopefully he's no longer running a temp. This is the last step needed to go home. They will issue a U.S. visa for Manny to enter the U.S. Well, not much else to report, so I'll make this a short post. Can't wait to see everyone soon!

Sorry to hear you are not feeling well! Probably a good thing you didn't have a full day of traveling yesterday...it was a blessing in disguise! Rest up so you are ready for all the running this week and then the big welcome home!!!

ReplyDeleteIt snowed here today! Can you believe it? Let's hope it warms up a bit for Halloween. What is Manny going to be? Lucy is going to be a frog or a lady bug.
