Manny is 10 months old!

Wow, time is flying! It's hard to believe that today Manny is 10 months old. Now that he's learned to crawl, he's done with it, and on to pulling himself up on everything. He wants to walk. He's just a busy little boy. I've been trying to get a picture of his new tooth, but it's hard to get a smile where his bottom gum is showing. I'll keep trying.

We had a crazy hectic week with Johnny traveling for work. It's pretty obvious that he misses his daddy when he's out of town. We went over to Kellie's house and had dinner with Kellie, Brady, Norah, Dustie, Jess Milkes and her two boys. (One being 2 weeks old) Manny kept trying to give him kisses. Manny was also very intrigued with the big boys as they were playing one minute and having crying fits the next. It was fun to get out of the house and Kellie made some yummy enchiladas and Dustie made an AWESOME trifle with berries, angel food cake and whip topping mixture. I could eat the whole thing!!

I took some pics of Manny on St. Patty's day. He's now practicing his Zoolander poses, like Blue Steel and Magnum. He's getting pretty good!

Catching Up

After a couple months of being at home and adjusting to family life, I'm ready to pick up the blog again.  We've finally established a good routine between home, family and work which was especially challenging during the holidays.  Manny has reached quite a few milestones in the few months.  He's ALL OUT crawling now.  He did the army crawl for a couple of months, before he decided it might be easier to actually crawl.  I guess he was building his upper body strength, cuz he is really strong.  When he's squirming and pushing, It's really hard to keep a hold of him.  He no longer likes to snuggle.  It's all about exploring and no one's holding him back.  He's got a very strong will, and gets a little testy when he doesn't get his way.  He's eating solids, and loves corn puff snacks and yogurt puff snacks.

He loves music, clapping, dancing, jumping in the jumperoo, zooming around in his walker, talking, singing, books and trying to get at electrical cords.   He finally cut his first tooth yesterday on the bottom.  He's nine and a half months old, and just getting that first tooth.  I was so excited!  I don't want to write a book here about the last few months, so I figure pictures are as good as words.  Enjoy!

Fun in the snow?

Ok, so it doesn't look like he's having that much fun, but he hadn't had his afternoon nap, and was a little cranky.  I thought the pouting made for some good pictures.   We had a very pretty snow fall, and the temp. wasn't too cold, so we had to take advantage of the day!
