This morning our fellow Minnesotans staying in the room next to us, checked out and moved to another hotel. They had stayed at this hotel when they adopted their first child, 5 years ago. We are going to have lunch with them on Wednesday and tour the hotel. We may end up moving, but are unsure yet. It has been really nice having them here, and we already miss them. We are thinking of a trip to the coast for a week, so if we do that, we'll have to check out of our hotel. When we come back from our trip it may be a good time to check into the other hotel. We will have to check with our rep, Cecilia to see if this is a possibility. If it's an issue, than we will just stay here. We'll probably make a decision after we visit them on Wednesday.
This morning, before they checked out, they brought their new daughter Emma and their five year old, Ellie to our room to say goodbye. Emma and Manny ended up having some play time under the play gym. See pics below. So cute! Johnny, Manny and I went for another walk, and went to lunch at The Bogota Beer Company. Very delicious! Then we had to have dessert at Crepes and Waffles since it is next door!
We spent the rest of the evening hanging out with Manny and getting a lot of fun playtime. He is so much fun!
Love,
Dulcie, Johnny and Manny

Good morning~
ReplyDeleteFirst off, love the pictures! So much fun to see some little babies!!
Happy to hear you are enjoying some yummy restaraunts around town. There is a really good italian/pizza place not too far from where you are staying called Azzuros, and a really good Tex-mex place right next door to that worth a walk to one day. Mary J. could probably give you a better location, as I am not so good at remembering those things! And, of course, any day there is a great day for ice cream. There is a place in the Santa Barbara mall, I think second floor, outside called 4D. Just looking at the ice cream there will make your mouth water!
Have you tried a crepe at Crepes and Waffles yet? Oh, they need one of those in MN!!!! Enough about the food! You have to make the best of your time there though, and finding a good, fun place to eat is always a good way to pass the time!
Manny keeps getting cuter and cuter. Give those cheeks some extra kisses from us! And take advantage of a trip to the coast if you can. Worth every single penny!!
Patsy and boys
Well you don't know me all that well but I really hate to complain :P and I have been COMPLAINING to Mary J about our need for more entries so THANK YOU for keeping our fix going....you don't want us poor girls in MN going through adventure withdrawal now do you?! :) Thanks for letting me complain
ReplyDeleteLove love the photos of the kids. How dang cute are they? Our youngest is three so I am in need of a baby...Mary knows about this but not my husband :)
We have stayed at both the Z and Paris and loved the rooms at Paris, but we had a huge one. I liked the location of Paris just because it was a bit closer to the mall, markets etc, but that was also when we had more than one kid so....
Keep enjoying your peace and downtime, as much as it can get monotonous. Go to the coast, we never did and I really regret that! Jodi
Who are these crazy ladies that keep mentioning my name...I swear I have never heard of them :0)
ReplyDeleteOkay--Patsy is talking about Pabloms as the Tex-Mex place and it is right by Azzuros..right straight out your front door at Zuetana! YUMMY!
Jodi had been complaining to me so do me a favor and keep her occupied with updates and photos so she stays out of my hair! Okay, so I sort of enjoy the updates too!!! :0)
Go to the coast, you crazy kids...get out of Bogota for a while and enjoy a vacation within a vacation!!! It's awesome and you will want to stay more than a week!!! Pack your Speedo, Johnny, as it is HOT!!!
Have a super night!!! We're praying for this strike to end soon!!!
Buenas Noches,
